search for Nick Name in global address book

Hi,

I want to add a Nick Name in the AD. Is this possible. If so where should I put or add the nick name in the following flelds.

First Name
Initials
Last Name
Display Name


Also in outlook, when someone searches or for a new message, if the nick name is given then it should find the employee. Is this possible?
