Search for contacts in Outlook

I want to be able to search my contacts folder and have it also search all
sub folders at the same time. I went into the subfolders and made sure they
are marked as e-mail address book, but it's still not working. Any ideas?
 
No ideas are even possible. We have no information. We do not know your
Outlook version, mail transports or information store. You could also
clarify what you think Outlook should be doing that it is not.
