search engines

All of a sudden I can't go to any search engine
websites. I think some software has been loaded keeping
me from doing this. I can go to any other pc in my house
and get to a site. Even MSN search site I can't reach.
If I use the google IP address I can get there but not
using the domain name.

Any software agents that may have gotten loaded that
would cause this?
