I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this question and if it
isn't I apologize in advance.
I submitted my site to both Google and Yahoo almost two months ago. This was
my first website and I've done everything I can think of including making
sure the appropriate meta tags where inserted. I don't want to pay to get my
site listed. Is there something else I should be doing? Here is the url
http://www.bloodoath.com.au/

Thanks

Your using frames, and frames can impede search engines
when crawling your site.

Also, it can take a few months to get "spidered."

You basically just have to wait. Yahoo uses real people to review your site.
If you have access to your server stats, then you can check to see which
search engines have visited your site.

Steve,
I understand I need to be patient but I didn't use frames, I used tables.
Isn't getting "spidered" the way a site gets indexed just by chance? Does
registering a site do any good or is it just a waste of time?

Thomas I have seen that some people have found the site via Google but it
isn't always consistent. Also I was wondering if the fact it is an
Australian site makes a difference.

Thanks guys for your help.

Ruth

Not if you have submitted the site to the various search engine, but it can
still take each search engine a while to index. If you want faster indexing,
you most likely will have to pay.
