I want to use the "search" that came on XP (with the
little dog). I used to have it all the time then it
changed to a useless thing. I get it when I follow the
instructions - Start, Search, Change preferences, change
files & folders etc. but when I go back to the internet
page and click search, the other one is still there. Am I
missing a step or is there another way to permanently get
the XP search. Thanks.

I checked the "search" I get when I'm in My Documents
and it is the "Little Dog" one but when I
click "Search" when I'm just on any internet site/page
I get useless "DRSN" search. I followed the
instructions to change the search behaviour, but
it's not working. Any ideas?

have a folder open, or your browser and viewing a web
page. When on the internet the Search is intended more
for searching the Internet. If you are in My Documents
and click Search up on the Toolbar, it should be the same
as from the Start button.

The "DRSN" is actually the ShopNav Search which is a malicious spyware app.
