Search (combo) box wizard

My database has numerous forms and in some of them I have put in search boxes
in the form header by using the combo box wizard. But, on a couple of forms
the wizard won't give me the option of setting up a search box. It only gives
me the first 2 options and not the third (search).
The forms don't appear to be any different structure wise to the others, but
the wizard simply doesn't want to work.
Anybody have any clues?
 
Thanks mate, that works well. But I still don't understand what the problem
is with the other way. It's very simple when t works.
 
Did the first 2 questions give any clues?

You can't navigate record in an unbound form, and the wizard doesn't know
how to uniquely identify a record unless you use a simple primary key field.
