search cache

I am posting this 3 places bc i dont really know what
category it belongs in! Sorry!!

I did a search on an office computer for a file that i
needed(ie. 'start' button to 'search' to 'files and
folders') and now when i type in the first letter of
search i did, the whole word that i searched pulls up. (I
searched for WGSN and when i type in W .. the GSN
automatically appears!)

I dont want any "suggestions" to come up when i begin to
type into the search field - Esp bc this is a shared work
station. How can i change this preference??

PLEASE HELP! i need to know this by tomorrow!
