K Kelly Nov 10, 2003 #2 Hi Jason, IE/Tools/Internet Options/Content/AutoComplete/Clear AutoComplete Start/Search/Change Preferences/Turn AutoComplete off A small utility I created that clears certain History Lists Clear Recent File Lists - Includes Search and Run Menu (Line 41) http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Manual Edit: Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru To prevent keeping a history altogether, right click ACMru/Permissions/Deny all users and groups listed.
