Search bar wont go away!

can someone help please! my internet explorer keeps
coming on with a my search bar at the bottom of it and it
comes on as passthrough and i have been onto my internet
options and changed my home address and i cannot get rid
of this it only happened after i had a few viruses on my
computer but i have got rid of them and dont know wot to
do about this my search bar can someone help please???

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function

There is a program that got downloaded, I think it's
called my search. Look on the Control Panel (Start -->
Settings --> Control Panel) Add/Remove Programs for
something with this name. If you find it, remove it.
That should take care of the issue.

Also, when visiting websites, you will sometimes get
messages asking if you want to download something to view
the website. Read those warnings carefully, sometimes
they hide ad-ware, spy-ware, and other such programs in
their disclosures. So when you agree, you're getting more
than you bargained for.
