search bar dropdown box

How are entries stored. Can entries be add or
deleted at will? When I clear history file, dropdown
box still contains entries

Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?
If you want to delete individual ones, when they drop down, carefully
move the highlight to the one you don't want and press Delete.
