I have a number of contact entries that have erroneous info in them, e.g.
instead of a full telephone number they have "+1-713-" and similar. Is there
a simple piece of vba code that I could use to eliminate/replace these
without having to go to each one individually and change it? Thanks.

No idea how to help you, but I'm curious: Why do you say that these
are erroneous entries?

In the 713 area code (Houston, TX) and many others around the USA, one
must dial all 10 digits including area codes for local calls.

Also, it's been a long time since I had my computer hooked to a phone
line, but I used to have software years ago that would take the
complete phone number (including country code, area code, and number)
and then dial only what it needed to dial. So in those days, it would
have omitted 1-713 before dialing. Does your software not not do
that?

Since I live in Houston well aware of 10 digit. Problem is I have entries
with nothing but "+1-713-" and "-" and several others. These go back to my
initial pst file when I imported data from a database. I am trying to clean
up to avoid other compatibility problems with transfers to my cell phone.
