Search action in Internet Explorer 6

whenever I press the search button in the Browser for
internet explorer 6 I get a message that the "search
action was cancelled", this function used to work fine
yesterday but is now playing up. has anyone come across
this before? and if so what can I do to have the browser
running back as usuall?

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).

Salam ya Mustafa. I had the same problem and the only way
I was able to fix it is by clicking on the Customize
button right above the Action Cancelled message. When you
get to the Window titled "Customize Search Settings"
Select the "Use one search service - ..." radio button
instead of the "Use Search Assistant - ..." Make sure you
select the search engine of your choice(you can always
change it) then click the OK button. That is it! The
other radio button does not work for me and I don't know
why.
