Seagate STT20000A

Hi. I have 2 Windows 2000 Server SP4 with Seagate STT20000A IDE Tape Drive.
The hardware installation is ok, but when I lunch a backup no media was
recognized. I tried 15 media, anyone doesn't work!
It's a driver problem? Or an incompatible hardware?

Run compmgmt.msc and make sure that the
tape drive is visible under "Removable Storage".
If it is, return the drive to the supplier for servicing.
 
Two tape drive are visibles under "Removable Storage" in the two server.
Everyone broken at same time? Strange...

What you see is the tape drives that Windows can see.
You presumably have one connected only, so this is the
one that's broken. If you think that Windows is at fault,
temporarily install it in another machine and test it there.
