I have a P3 800MHz with the following RAM

128Mb 130Mhz

I added a 128Mb 100Mhz stick and it seemed to work ok.

Will this cause any problems as it has been recognised by the computer on startup?

I think the 100MHZ is a SIMM and the 130MHz is a DIMM?

Please advise

You have 133 and 100 sticks combined (133 is the correct one and not 130). Because of the 100 Mhz your system will fall back on 100 Mhz and will not run at 133. Basically 133is backward compatible so will be actually running in 100 Mhz mode. Your memory will be about 25 % slower, other than that no problems should be encountered. :)

Here is an article which I hope will explain the differences between the two type of memories as well as give you an idea of how they look.
