scvhost.exe

i'm having a problem with scvhost.exe encountering a
problem and needing to close, it is more of an annoyance
more than a problem because it dosn,t appear to affect my
computer, i just clik close and all is good but it
immediately restarts itself and then has the same problem
again 10 or so minutes later,it happens even if my
computer is stood idle and doing nothing, i have checked
in the task manager and there are up to 6 different
versions of this running with various users such as
me,system,network administrator etc, this is what the
error report says-C:\DOCUME~1\Martin\LOCALS~1
\Temp\WER63.tmp.dir00\scvhost.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Martin\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER63.tmp.dir00
\appcompat.txt- i'd really appreciate any help that
anyone can give me because it is becoming quite annoying

Run a virus check and make sure you've installed all service packs/critical
updates
