I am having a problem trying to record CDs. The only
difference that I can find in device manager is an
SCSI/RAID Host controller has a yellow mark beside it.
The CD works and recognizes diskd when put in the tray,
but when I go to record, (and I have tried with several
different sets of files) it records or looks like it and I
go to read the disk and there is nothing on it. It is like
all the cds are bad. I have bought 4 diff3rent types of
CDR's and I do not think that this is the problem.

The error I get is that when looking into the SCSI is that
something is missing in the registry. And was unable to
load. I go and look for the driver and it says the driver
does not exist. I have no Idea what kind of driver is
missing. I have been dealing with this for about 4 weeks
now and I can not find any info other than what I have
said here.
So I guess this is my last resort. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Could be either a SCSI controller card or an IDE 100/133 needing the
controller drivers. Was an extra controller card installed or could this
be on the motherboard? The manufacturers site should have the driver.
If you are unsure of the specifics try Aida32 (free download, Google for
it), to identify the board. Or hit pause/break as a set of numbers
quickly appears on the screen (space to continue). Write down this
series and check Google, wimsbios, or a number of other sites to ID the
motherboard.
