If the adapter has only narrow (50 pin) connectors it won't work. If it has wide (68 pin) connectors it will work with some limitations. A newer drives can be jumpers to work in SE mode to match your adapter. You will need an external terminator to have proper termination, as newer LVD drives don't have built in termination. The data transfer speed will be limited to the speed of your adapter. You will have to update the adapter BIOS to support drives larger than 128 GB; I don't now if this is possible with an adapter from 1995.
