I just installed a WinXP Home Ed machine and added my wireless Intellimouse
mouse to the system. The scrolling is very jumpy instead of smooth as my
Win 2000 machine was. Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

Thanks,

Scott

I hope I am understading the problem here. I'm not sure what "Jumpy" is.
In the past, I do remember a "smooth scroll" featuere in some Win O/S I have
had but I don't recall seeing it lately. If you have not already done so,
maybe you need to see what the scrolling feature is set to. It can be
adjusted from scrolling one line at a time all the way up to scrolling a
whole page at a time. Maybe if you set it to one line, it might not seem as
jumpy. Go to Start/Control Panel/Mouse and the click on the Wheel tab.

Good luck,

Tom

Hi

Did you install the drivers for the wireless intellimouse that is available on the CD inside the mouse cover. Install them and see the configuration for the scrolling and adjust your scrolling speed there
