Can anyone tell me if it is at all possible to create a scrolling action in PowerPoint
I need to insert a very long table (7 pages) into a slide.
I want the table to scroll continuously, very slowly for 5-10 minutes.
Also, I want it to stop scrolling - on click

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know about stopping the scroll on a
click. Also, you didn't mention what version of PPT
you're using, so I'll assume 2000. (I believe 2002 has a
built-in scrolling animation.)

To make an object scroll up the slide, you can drag the
object off the top of the slide until the bottom of it is
at the location where you would want it to stop. You may
need to zoom down to 10% or less in order to drag such a
large table far enough off the slide. Set the animation
to "Crawl from bottom." The table will crawl up the
slide and stop when it gets to the location that you
placed it.

Unfortunatly, I don't think PPT 2000 allows you to adjust
the speed easily. If you're using 2002 or later, that's
a different story.
