All of a sudden, without changing the resolution or text size, I'm having to
scroll about an inch to the right to read all the text on an Ebay item
(happening on my homepage too). Increasing the resolution solves the scroll
issue but the text is too small. Any ideas? Thanks much.

Hi calm :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:

Go to IE>View>Text size> Select Medium (or smaller) and see if that helps.
Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Make sure that High Contrast
is not checked.

Go to IE>Tools> Internet Options>Accessibility button
Check the box next to "Ignore font sizes specified on webpages"
Nothing else there should be checked

also..

If you have a wheel mouse, on the pages where the problem occurs, hold down
the Ctrl key and move the wheel forward or backward to adjust the text size.

Hope this helps.

Just for info, I'm running XP. And you are magic....it was the "ignore font
sizes" that did it. Now I can see everything, everywhere. And I love the
control/wheel tip. Thanks much.

You're very welcome! I'm very glad to hear you were able to resolve your
problem. Good job!

Yes...that control/wheel really comes in handy on days when my eyes decide
to play tricks on me, and I don't want to change my settings. ;o)

Thank you very much for posting back and letting us know what worked for
you, and for the benefit of other readers who might have a similar problem.
