Is there a way to change the width of some web pages so I don't have to
scroll from left to right. I only occasionally run into this problem but it
is annoying when lines of text run off the right side of the screen and you
have to scroll to read it.

I'm afraid the person who coded the page hard coded it to a specific width.
Nothing you can do.

Change the font size? (Alt-V,x,...)

If the site is specifying the font too you can prevent that
using the Accessibility dialog. (Alt-T,O,Alt-e,z)

Thanks, but decreasing the font doesn't change the width of the webpage
either. It just makes fewer lines of text that still run off the page.
