Scrolling down

I understand that the wheel on my mouse can control the zoom in or out.
However, how do I then scroll up or down in a document?

Hold Ctrl key to zoom...release Ctrl key to Scroll.

Hmmm... mine seems to be acting a little different. It zooms whenever I move
the mouse wheel when I'm not holding any key. When I hold down the control
key while moving the wheel, nothing different happens, as it still zooms. The
shift key doesn't seem to have any effect either.

Maybe there are settings in control panel you could adjust.
