Scroll Lock

I am using a Windows XP for work and the computer will automatically scroll
down and I cannot scroll up or type. When I type it will go to the bottom of
the page. If I hit the scroll lock button it does nothing, the problem
continues. It happens for a couple minutes then stops for a while. Can
anyone help please!!

I haven't tried it but could the key be activated by pressing the F Lock
key first.

Disconnect the mouse from the PC
and check the bottom of the optical
area for dust or dist buildup.

If it's a wireless mouse try a new set
of batteries.
