I understand how to make a scroll bar in a frame, but how do I get one on the
far right of the screen to scroll the whole page down?

If you have say a framed page with a frame at the top, a frame on the left
and a big frame as the frame where your main information will be there would
only be a need for a scroll in the big frame and the left frame and not the
top frame. I think you are asking how to scroll all three frames at
once....is that correct?

Yes, that's exactly my question.

Not possible to scroll all frames together
- since they are separate windows in the browsers

I don't think you can scroll the whole "page" since you're using frames to
display three "pages". So you can't scroll them together - the idea of
frames is so they scroll independently.

Maybe to help understand why you would like to be able to do this it would
be good to explain what/why you want to scroll the whole window of a framed
page and we could suggest a solution that can be done. Personally in my web
designs I try to stay away from making pages that need scrolling or at least
need very little scrolling. I've observed a number of people browsing web
pages and a good portion of the time they will move on to another page
before they will scroll down to see what is at the bottom of the page. I
know there are times when it can't be helped and it also depends on the
person's monitor size that is doing the browsing too!

If you want to take time to discuss it more feel free.

Thanks

I have a simular problem in that I hav a page that at one time you could
scroll up and down with the mouse wheel or page up and down, etc., but when I
last updated teh page it now no longer is scrollable in fact when you atempt
to click and drag it highlights text like you want to want to select it for
editing. It works fine in design mode but not when previewed or published.
In other words the right hand scroll bar like on this window is missing.
this has happened on oly one of several pages published.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to the cause and fix?
