As much chatter as this problem has generated over the
internet, I'm surprized not to find a subject here.
Here it goes. Ever since I loaded the latest security
update for IE 6.0, by browser moves two (2) pages up or
down with each click. I have been told that MS is aware of
this problem, but have searched their site with zero
results.
Any help is appreciated.

You'd pretty much have to be blind not to have seen a subject line
pertaining to this topic, as they appear with great frequency. Just look
for the word "scroll" or "scrolling".

Not surprising since they don't appear to be in much of a hurry to do
anything about it. I'm not even sure they have acknowledged it as a
"problem", as opposed to a new "feature" that were all supposed to adore.

I was cruising around microsofts support page and I
seriously remember a fix-it for this. Please look but I'm
not sure exactly where it was. In "search words" type
in "double scrolling"

I've experienced the same double-scrolling problem ever
since I downloaded the SP1 cumulative security update for
IE6 (also, when I alternatively try to use the triangle
button in the scroll bar, the scrolling is jittery). My
solution has been to download Netscape Navigator. It works
fine.

Thanks for your help,Doug. All is appreciated

I'm sorry you had to go to that extent. I'll hold out for
MS. Thanks for your reply

Hey Joe, Thanks for your reply.
I'm deaf. Not blind (true) LOL :).
I had no success searching here. Tons on Google.
It seems you have knowledge of this subject, please email
me at (e-mail address removed) if you come up with anything
constructive.
Happy holiday's!
Very disappointed in Microsoft.
