scripting problem ...Urgent plz !!!

I have a very wierd problem in my IE6 ... the I explorer
doesnt open urls with vb scripts .... when i log to the
company website from one of the machines and i log into
the database server ...there are urls that links to data
on the server , when i press these links the ie6 forword
me to a search engine on the internet.
When right clicking on the url i get the following:
Protocol : Unknown
Type : Not available
Address (URL): vbscript:doShow(817,763,250,68)
the links are working on other machines perfectly without
errors ...
can any one help?
