Script Printer Settings

Hello...
This may seem like kind of an obscure thing, but is there a way to set
printer preferences/properties using a script or command-line options?
Let me give you an example...
I do cd printing and some labels just have black text, so I drop the
saturation and ink use down to its lowest setting. Others, though, have full
color and I like to use a higher setting. Currently, I have to manually
change the settings for each.
I already run batch scripts to do the printing and it would be really cool
if I could just add a line or two at the beginning to jump back and forth
between quality settings.
I imaging that I could do this with a macro editor and actually record
keyboard/mouse routines, but I would rather not go that route if I didn't
have to.

Ok...
I did a -show and I have a bunch of options. Do any of these specify a
preset? I have a preset for black text and another for color. I would be
cool if I could simply specify the preset in the setprinter command.
I've seen a lot of examples about changing names and paper sizes, but
nothing about presets.
