Getting Internet Explorer Script Error on lots of pages.
This after SP2 loaded. Try www.ajc.com to test - occurs
every time on this site.

Have checked the Advanced - Disable blah blah blah and
unchecked Display a notification blah blah.

Have tried without running ZoneAlarm or Norton
Antivirus. Have tried removing IE as a component from
Control Panel Add-Remove.

Every thread on Internet ends without solution.

Help!!!

You won't find a solution on your computer, because it's not
your problem, it's the site's problem. Contact their webmaster,
and send him some screenshots.

Thanks, but that doesn't seem right to me. I can browse
the same sites with 2 other computers (XP, Win2000) and
don't get the script error popups. On some of the sites I
do get the "Done with error" thing at the bottom, which I
would believe to be the site's problem. But I can't
disable the Script Error popup at all.

According to the first response, my next step is going to
be to "repair" the WinXP installation. For the first time
ever I am truly disappointed with a Microsoft product (I'm
a pretty understanding person).

Double check those two settings under Advanced.
That should take care of the error popups, Disable
script debugging should be checked, and the one
below it, Display a notification about every script
error should be unchecked.

I would also check the cache setting, should
be on Automatically, and perhaps try clearing
the cache and history as well if the two settings
are as above.

And in case you have Interdev on that PC:
