script errors = Body Odor?

Does having unexplained script errors equate to having body odor? I am
having scrpt errors with slow, incomples and page load failures and it seems
that people are avoiding my post as though I had B.O. (smile). Seriously can
some one help me figure this out? In the past I have gooten super advice in
this forum.

What page is throwing the errors? I'm not getting any from the index page,
it's still loading slow but not as slow as it did.
I'd remove the marquee...it's distracting & has spelling error (Suday).

Right Now the website is better but when I move from page to page it
sometimes wil not load. We will see. And there is no spell check when
editing marquee. But I kan spell awrite most of the tyme.

Can you reccommend a program that I can use to identify errors?

The error messages occur when switching from design to prewiew mode in FP.
It it is on every page I would suspect the index.dwt file as it is common to
all pages within the site. Also why does the address show
www.blackcreekbaptistchurch.com on all pages? Is it because this is an ftp
server?
 
Address; it's because you're using frames.

frames are evil...especially when you don't need them.

Details. Bottom line is that his site is framed. It only does a favor for
the (unscrupulous?) host, and hurts everyone else.

I'd never allow a host to do this....
 
Actually it is where someone purchases a domain name, but doesn't use a web hosting service that
offers domain accounts, so the actually location of the content is masked in a frameset.

Thank you for your responses. 1) I publish this site on an ftp server that
allows me FREE space to publish a webpage. Is my use of it unethical? 2) The
use of frames was unitentional as I am not really sure what a frame is. 3) Is
there a more effective in repect to those that the site is pubished for
(viewers) the site can our should be published? 4) If so HOW?

It's not for YOU. The host, on the other hand is committing a "breech of
netiquette" (not evil, just rude and dumb).

Also, you get what you pay for, free services tend to be crap. You can get
non-free services for a very very low price that is close enough to be free
as to not matter. AND they are much better. If you want your site to be a
nice one, you have to put some effort into the infrastructure that hosts it
and that may mean 5 - 20 per month payment. Anything BellSouth offers for
free is going to suck. (Even some of their paid services suck.)

Frame = one file that opens up one or more other files for display. The
result is the first file is the only one you see in the address bar. (They
have their uses, but have many drawbacks that make lots of developers hate
them.)

I am not sure I understand the question, but you could start by switching
hosts. Stick "frontpage web hosting" into Google and start looking for one
that both fits your budget and site needs.

You didn't use them, the service that you have your domain register with, is the one that has
enabled them.
