Script error message on opening IE after booting up...

After booting my PC up I keep getting a script error box
popping up, with the option to turn off the announcement
so that I can open new pages without the error message
appearing again.

I check the box and this error message does not appear
again while I am online. But whenever I close down my PC
and open it up again, the same thing happens again! This
has only started happening since I recently updated my XP
settings from the Microsoft update site.

I have tried to stop this from happening by opening my
Tools> Internet Options> Advanced tab and ticking
the "Disable script debugging" option of the 'Browsing'
section. I also ensure that "Display a notification about
every script error" is unticked and apply my settings,
before cloing down the Internet Options box.

This does not help as, when I next close down my PC, it
seems to reset itself on boot-up to show the same script
error box!

I have run Lavasoft AdAware to see if there is any
malware on my PC that can be causing this and it tells me
I am clear, which I knew anyway, as I have just recently
formatted my HDD and it is clean. This is the reason for
downloading and installing the latest updates from the
Microsoft Windows Update site.

I am sure this has something to do with one of the
updates that came from the Microsoft Windows Update site?!

This is most frustrating - Can anyone please help?
