Scrips mesages

Help I have 2 questions.

1. I keep getting messages like 'you are running scripts do you want to
continue yes or no.

How can I stop these messages?

2. I tried to do a system restore twice and it would not restore at all,
are the 2 connected.
 
I should have said I was running Windows XP and IE6 I have tried
tools -Options etc.. and it made no difference. It also happens when
looking at web pages.

1) w/ the recent (Mar 06) issue/flaw in IE, it has been recommended by
many security sites (and MS) that Active Scripting in IE be setup to
"prompt" instead of "allow", until MS releases the fix w/ the April
updates. Sounds like you (or some helpful soul) has set that up. Here's
where to look:

2) IE | Properties | Security tab | Internet (or other) Zone | Custom
Level button | security setting list, Scripting section (near end), Active
Scripting item: Disable/Enable/Prompt
