There was a program mentioned on this newsgroup at one time about taking
screenshots with Vista. How do you access that? Thanks.

That I think is the snipping tool. Go to start and stype snip. It should
come up :-)

The snipping tools is what you are after. However, for full screenshots
just press the prtscrn (printscreen) button on your keyboard. This will copy
the screenshot to the clipboard. All you need do then is paste it into paint
or something similar.

Click on the Start Orb and type "snip" in the Start Search box. You will
see the Snipping Tool at the top of the menu. If you hit enter the tool
will start up. If you do not hit enter you can right click on the snipping
tool icon and select Add to Quick Launch so you have it ready to hand.

I've tried that and nothing appears.

I've found the references to the tool in the Help Center, clicking on the
hyperlinks in there doesn't do anything either, I did a "view source" to find
the location of the tool, and the .exe (can't remember the exact name, I'm on
a different PC at the moment) wasn't to be found when I browsed into system32
to try and find it.

It's as though its missing from the install. Everything else seems to be
working as expected and I've had no problems with anything else (barring the
audio drivers which were a right royal pain to sort out!).
