screensavers and scheduling antispyware for automatic execution late at night

Is there any way to prevent antispyware from unloading my
screensaver? I have the schedule set to the default--daily
scan at 2am--on a laptop where the monitor doesn't have
something like a separate "off" switch. At 2am the past
couple of mornings, now that I have antispyware installed,
my sleeping monitor blooms into bright, scary life, like a
little star going nova, flaring me out of MY sleep in a
fright, and it would be so nice if it didn't do that. Thanks!

Have you checked the power options properties in Control Panel? Set the
monitor to turn off after a given period > apply > go.
