I have a workstation that has a greyed out screensaver
option. If I want to use a different screensaver, I need
to go in the registry and manually type one in. How do I
open up the Dropdown box to enable the screensaver
selector??

There may be a Group Policy enabled. If you logon with a domain account,
then possibly domain administrators configured this. If that is not the case
use gpedit.msc to bring up Group Policy and go to user
confiuration/administrative templates/control panel/display where the screen
saver options are. If you do not see any defined, try enabling or disabling
the appropriate setting to reverse the change. You should logoff and log
back on to test changes. --- Steve

Try using the themes manager, course you will find the
themes folder empty, it was left empty on purpose, I guess
they figured the professionals didn't want to change
themes. You will have to download themes and install
them .

here is a link that talks about incorporating themes from
previous versions of windows, not all will function
properly with w2k however.
