I can't see the bottom of thedesk top's bottom basket????
I used to be able to see this all the itme now I can't
and it is making it difficult to opperate with out the
icons visable at the bottom. Can any one help me out? I
have a brain injury and I am surprised I got this far !!!!
Or where do I get info about this problem or is it?

When I am seeing the desk top I go into any other program
and the bottom basket disaperas with the icons for
looking at email or reviewing Explorrer when I go to my
documnets. I used to be able to go to my documents and
the icons were still visable along with the icons and the
meail saved there ina short cut. Then i could add items
to the emials or other programs as nessassary...........
that's what I remember at least.

Please add in Subject: basket help

John;
Try this: Right click a blank area of the bottom basket (this called the
Taskbar)/Properties/Taskbar tab/click, "Lock the taskbar"/click, "Keep the
taskbar on top of other windows"/click, Apply/click OK.
Or try this:Start/Help and Support/type: taskbar in the little
window/click the arrow/look in the left hand pane for what you want to
view/look in the right hand pane to view it.
Hope this helps. Let us know.

I wanted to add a biot more information to Wesley's
reply. There may be several things causing the task bar
to "disappear" You may have the Auto-Hide setting in the
task bar properties dialog checked (From Wesley's
directions: right click any area in the task bar, when
you can see it then select Properties and use the
controls on the Taskbar tab). Autohiding the task bar is
a good way to reclaim some screen real estate - to see
the taks bar just move your pointer to the very bottom of
the screen and it shoudl pop up. Unchecking this box
will keep the taks bar visible at all times.

If that doesn't work one other thing this might be is
that the positioning of your screen on your monitor may
be incorrect. Most monitors include a little panel on
the front that provides little buttons allowing your to
move the screen image up/down and side-to-side. They
usually alos allow you to increase or decrease the height
and width of the screen. It may be that the screen
height is too tall or that the screen is position too far
down. If the Taskbar controls don't fix your problem you
might try adjusting your monitor.

Hope this helps.
