screen size!

about awek ago my hp screen went bang!
so at the moment i am running a 17" lcd tv (with pc input) but the damm
tv/pc wont allow me to change the screen size!
so at the moment i cant view a web page as it was intended

can anyone help ??

17" lcd tv made by "logik" bought in the uk in "currys"

Have you checked for a driver for the monitor in question on the
manufacturer's web page?
Most 17" LCDs have a native resolution of 1024x768 - although I believe i
have seen native resolutions one higher (1280x1024) and one lower (800x600)
as natives on some of the cheaper models.
