Is it possible to change the screen-size from 800x600 to 1024x768 by
changing one (or more) registry-entry's?
Which entries do I have to change?
My os is windows 2000.

change screen resouluton by this method:

right click on an unoccupied area of the desktop
select Properties
click on the settings tab
move the slider entitled "screen area"

Yes there is a special reason: if user 1 logs in, the computer should use
resolution A and if user 2 logs in, the computer should use resolution B.
Windows '98 could remember the resolution for every user, but w2k doesn't
seem willing that...

You might consider using something like MultiRes, which can be scripted:
