No, it can't be forced the way I think you're thinking. At best you can
design an adaptable page that will adjust to different resolutions and
look reasonably good in all. An adaptable page is one built with at
least one main table of set width with content that fits comfortably
without horizontal scrolling in 800 x 600 resolution or less. Many
builders design for 800 x 600 because it's so widely used.
 
Is there a way to force the page size to be a certain resolution no matter
what viewer it is being viewed in. Is there code that allows the page width
and height to be 800 x 600 if the page is designed in 1024 x 768. Is this
true and if so, what would the html be and where is the best place to insert
at?
