screen sideways

A student must have hit a button because the screen is
sideways.All the icons are sideways and even when you open
a program, everything is sideways. How do you reset the
screen on Windows XP. Thanks for any help.

First, check the display adapter properties. If nothing there to fix
this, then do a full virus scan.
