screen saver

I am a newbie with a Presario...have windows xp home
edition. I am having trouble with my screen saver. I
changed it, checked it, applied it, pressed ok, even
previewed it, but it still won't come on after the
keyborad has idled the amount of time I specified. What
am i doing wrong. I even tried restarting my computer.

The screensaver timer is sensitive to the mouse moving also, so one thing to be sure of is the desk/mouse isn't knocked.

It might be a good idea to set the timer to 1 minute to test it again.

I tried the one minuet test and it worked. When I set it
for 15 mins it never came on. What do you think it might
be?

When you tested it for 15 minutes did you leave the computer? Any movement on the mouse will reset the timer, we know the screensaver works so thats all I can think of sorry.
