screen saver

Is anyone having trouble with the screen saver? I set it to 45 mins and it
never kicks in... no matter what I set it at..
 
Which particular screensaver are you trying? I got Windows Energy to kick
in, but Bubbles refuses to work except in Preview :(
 
Do you by any chance have a second monitor attached? I found that the
'extend my desktop to this display' was checked by default...turning it off
got the screensavers working again on my main desktop. Except for Bubbles.

I have gotten all of the Screen Savers to work on mine and I am running an
ATI 9550 Radeon Graphics Card with their beta video driver for Vista Beta 2.
The only way my Savers will work at all is in Preview and if I Lock the
Computer. I can set it for any time delay ie ... one min. to 2 hrs and they
all will work. They will only work when my computer is locked. If I do not
lock it, the monitor will shut off with no Screen Saver. Maybe that issue
will be fixed in future updates or in the final release. Try setting your
saver time and lock the computer and see if the savers will work then.
 
I have a screen saver come on after 10 minutes, and have the monitor set to
turn off after 20, but the monitor never shuts off. Screen saver runs fine.
 
I have been unable to get any of the screen savers to work either. I think
it's a Vista bug.
