Screen Saver

Magoo

The screen saver as been set to 15 mins and when I change
it and apply it and choose ok it reverts back to the 15
mins. I have admin rights and unable to change this. Can
someone please help rectify this problem?

Jamie,

Run Gpedit.msc and then under User Configuration branch out Administrator Templates, Control Panel and select Display.
With Display selected check to see if Screen Saver Timeout is Enabled. If it is this policy will over ride anything you enter
through the user interface. If you want to use the GUI instead you'll need to set this to either Disabled or Not Configured.

If we are in a domain remember that it could always be a GPO and not the local policy that could be forcing this setting.

Bill thanks for replying. I opened up the program and all
the settings say they are not configured. Any other
suggestions?
