Screen saver problem

The settings are fine but screen saver never runs.
However they work when i click preview.
I read this probable solution:delete "ehtray.axe"
I dont have "ehtray" in startup or task manager, to delete it.
What could I do?

Thanks

The screen saver does not work when you use a Wireless Optical Desktop mouse on
a Windows XP SP2-based computer

Posting from another user by the name of David:
"I figured out what the problem is. It's the Microsoft Wireless Mouse. If I
switch the mouse to one with a tail the screensaver works."
then David posted again
"I got a fix. I changed to connection to the computer using the USB to PS2
adapter that came with the mouse. Now I get the screensaver. I would be
interested to find out why this works."

Another checkpoint - make sure that a program is not causing the computer to
remain active. You may have a program running in the background that springs
into life when the computer is idle.

Well, do a search for it on your hard drives, and rename it if found.
Note that its common for a file in startup or whatever to call other
files also. For example, I have one two entries for my firewall in
startup but I'm sure it's using way more files than that to run.

There are problems with windows screen savers and MS wireless Optical
mice. You can use your search option and search for *.scr That will
bring up your screen savers then create a shortcut on the desktop.
