Hi all,

I'd like to setup a group policy to enforce a screen saver
with password protection for all users. I have a windows
2000 domain running active directory with windows 2000 pro
running on the workstations.

I know if I setup a local group policy on the individual
workstations it will be overwritten by the domain policies
when the user logins into the domain. Is that correct?

Where can I set this policy up? Inside the Domain
Controllers Group Policy or just the Domain Group Policy?

Thanks a lot,

Dean

It is correct that domain policies override local policies. You can apply
it in the default domain policy but I probably wouldn't do so because it
would applyu to all systems in the domain including servers. It would be
better to create an OU for the PCs and apply the policy to that OU.
