Screen Saver Does not Run

The settings in the properties dialogue are fine but screen saver never runs.
Even the default screen saver. However they work when i click preview. Any
suggestions?

If you have a Microsoft wireless Optical mouse then that is the reason.
Logitech products do not interfere with the screen savers

This is regular problem...most forums have reported it and it is caused by
the wireless items from microsoft. There isn't a fix as
yet but a couple of ways around it

On mine if I go to "run" type in "msconfig"...startup and untick "ehtray"
my
screensaver will
work until I start the media centre 2005.

The best way to avoid it I found was to use Logitech wireless products

I agree..my daughter has wireless logitech and no probs!! I would have
thought microsoft would have sorted this problem by now!!
