Hi,

We have a default domain policy in place where our computers are
locked after 10 minutes of inactivity. However, we have several
computers in our organization where we don't want this to apply.

Basically, these machines are used as kiosks for employees to login to
our intranet site or they are machines used to make presentations.

Either way, we need to prevent the screen savers from activating on
these machines.

I've tried just disabling the "Active Screen Saver" local policy
setting, but that doesn't work.

Can anyone give me some help?

Thanks,
Andy

Place these computers in an OU and set a new policy with No Override set on
the GPO.

Since the screen saver settings are user configuration settings you may want
to even consider using the loopback policy processing and put these machines
in an OU with that policy. Similar to what you would do with a terminal
server. Review the following articles.
