Screen Saver Delay

I'm having a problem with my screen saver. For example,
the aquarium screen saver that comes with Plus.
Everytime it plays there will always be a delay every few
seconds. Normally it should play continuously, but it
doesn't. This has never happened before, and I don't
know how to fix this problem. Any suggestions or
troubleshooting tips?

If you mean that it works, but seems to pause every few seconds, it sounds
like the system is doing something rather intensive in the background.
Probably antivirus is set to scan while the machine is idle. Try disabling
AV for just a minute and see if that helps.

Download install the latest version of DirectX.

I don't have any antivirus scan going on in the
background. I also have tried to download the lastest
version of direct x as well and still the same problem.
Anything else I can do?
