(If this is the wrong place to ask this, please direct me to the right
place!)

In Windows XP screen save you can set up a 'slide show' extracting (random)
images in an apparently random sequence from a defined folder. Is there any
way of setting it up so that it shows all the images within the folder
(before it starts again), preferably in sequence?

Thanks

Terry

Microsoft has a download named HTML Slideshow or similar.

It takes all the images in a folder and creates some HTML which displays
them as a slide show.

Don't let the HTML put you off. You don't need any HTML knowldege and it
works fine in Windows XP.

All I need to do now is to remember its name and where on the MS site you
will find it. But try doing a search for "HTML Slideshow"

OK, I looked myself. Its called HTML Slideshow Wizard
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Despite the fact that it says
"HTML Slide Show Wizard
This wizard helps you create an HTML slide show of your digital pictures,
ready to place on your Web site."
you don't need to load it to anywhere. It runs on your local hard disk.

Many thanks; sounds useful but how does it link to screen save?

Terry

Sorry, I guess I didn't think through your question gefore replying.

In fact, my reply may be irrelevant. This may not be of any use to the
screen save facility
