screen resolution

My computer froze when I was shuting it down. I turned the power off and tried to restart it. It came back on, but with the screen resolution set at low, and it will not let me change it back, what should I do?

Reinstall the video drivers. If this is foreign to you, enlist the help
of someone who is familiar with the process.

The latest drivers may be available from the video card or chip
manufacturer's WEBsite.
