Hi

Can I, in WinXP Pro, set the different resolution for each user? I
changed it but it also changed to the same value for all users. For example,
one user can read small fonts whereas another can't and therefore has to
adjust resolution and font size. Since this can't be done for him only, two
users must always change those properties when they log into system. Why?

Tomaz

Hi

Why is that so? Take an example of two people working on one computer.
One has god and second has bad eyes. Both must in this case have different
resolution and font size settings but cannot do that unless they switch to
their own settings each time they log into Windows. In the article it says
that this behavious is by design but this, I must say, is a bad design for a
reason descrived above. Is it so difficult to acomplish this task?

The reason it is, is because MS designed it that way. You would have to ask
them why they chose to make it per machine, instead of per user.
